Hoda is the General Manager and publisher at Travel Weekly, she has over 10+ years experience spanning across Qantas, Flight Centre Travel Group and media outlets in both trade and consumer. Hoda's story begins at Qantas Frequent flyer program, helping lead the consumer education platform. This led her to Flight Centre Travel Group where she specialised in turning over loss making business' to multi million-dollar retail stores through marketing, sales and investing in people and culture. Her experience in media spans across trade and consumer, successfully executing Travel Weekly's very own events including Women In Travel Awards, Travel Daze and managing the daily publication.
Having starred on the Foxtel and Netflix show The Great Australian Bake-Off as a semi-finalist, she has since developed a brand and marketing platform which highlights the importance of food through the cultural travel lens. Her experience and passion for both travel and food has led her in creating, writing and staring in campaigns with Channel 7, SBS, Foxtel, Fiji Tourism, Visit Singapore, The Iconic, Woolworths, Costco and more.
